retracement broken......
|
Dear Friends,
My concluding statement in the
Sep01 EDGE article is coming sooner than expected! That year-end forecast
of 737 has got to wait - may not materialise at all - but then who could
have foresee the WTC debacle (except for the so-called perpetrators and
whoever in the know - the CIA?, the people behind the
conspiracy?, or the modern-day Nostradamus...?).
I am currently
looking closely at the Dow, and the impact on KLCI as well. Will get back
to you all soon. Another piece for The EDGE.
In the meantime just
take a look at the chart I have posted in my webpage: Now that the 62%
Fibonacci retracement has broken...... next "support" level
pegged at around 550?

Special - 2nd Board Index

Dear Mr. Arifin
I read with
interest your article on "Breaking out of the Bermuda Triangle" (The Edge,
Right Timing Special, 3 Sep 01). I'm just wondering whether you are
currently in the midst of preparing an article for 2nd Board index (Right
Timing Special). It would be really interesting to know what is the
outlook for 2nd Board Index (after hitting a high of 680+ points) based on
your analysis.
Really appreciate if you could prepare an article
for the 2nd Board Index. Thank you very much.
May we all see a
better tomorrows ahead !!!!
Best regards, Jules Lim

Dear Jules
Lim,
TQ for the interest. I can and I may do so if the readers want
- but it all depends on The Edge. You can read the regular Right Timing
column - he features analyses on the composite, emas and 2nd board
indices, every week. It's a good column provided you understand the
technical jargons well.
I am just a guest writer - coming out of
hibernation once in a while. If I do write along that line of thought of
yours it will be from a different perspective, aimed at the general
investing public at large. But first I need more responses from the
readers.
I do some updates on the indices, etc. etc and posted them
in my website. Just drop by at:

Good morning
Mr. Arifin
Thanks for your prompt reply. Although there's this
regular Right Timing column, I still and always believe in medium and long
term investing. As such, I really do hope you can prepare a comprehensive
article on 2nd Board's Index (medium and long term outlook).
Once
again, thank you very much.
Best regards, Jules

Your last
paragraph in the aforesaid article is a bit confusing. Is what you're
saying the KLCI will hit 730 this year before dropping to 500 early next
year? Or are you suggesting that the 730 target may not be reached and it
will reverse gear soon?
The Three Buddhas Theory sounds
interesting. Any recommended publications on this theory that I may refer
to? |
